OUR STORY
The story behind
Kenneth & Lorna
The Foundation is named after Kenneth and Lorna Chirashi, the parents of our founding trustee, Michael. Kenneth is Zimbabwean and Lorna is Scottish, together they built a family rooted in two countries and one shared belief: that every child deserves the chance to learn and thrive.
Lorna always had a heart for children. She worked in a nursery in Zimbabwe and as a nurse she would carry medical supplies back with her each time she returned from the UK, quietly making sure they reached the families who needed them most.
The Foundation carries that example forward, practical help, given with care, for children and families in Zimbabwe.
"Building brighter futures through Education."

OUR PROMISE TO YOU
Where your gift goes
We're taking the time to get this right. Before committing funds, we're travelling to Zimbabwe to visit schools in person, meet teachers and families, and see for ourselves where help is needed most including scholarships for bright children who are too often overlooked simply because their families can't cover the fees.
While our charity registration is under review, every gift is held carefully toward this work.
